In an announcement, the agency stated it can be alarmed in regards to the higher range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the higher range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is often a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie more info and there's no completely functional office committed to service the area every day. The provider issue produced for intervention activities a significant inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional resources to allow the servicing of all buyers and raise usage of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
